For vehicles parked for several hours, 7 kW charging is often practical. An 11 kW or 22 kW
charger may suit shorter dwell times or larger fleets where the site has suitable three-phase
capacity. The vehicle’s onboard AC charger can also limit the actual charging rate.
Can multiple EV chargers operate without overloading the building?
Yes, subject to site design. Dynamic load management can vary charger output based on the
building’s real-time demand, and power sharing can distribute available capacity across
multiple charging bays
Can staff or customers be given controlled access?
Selected charger models support RFID cards, user accounts, mobile applications, access
schedules and usage records. Commercial billing or OCPP requirements should be confirmed
during system design.
Can EV charging be combined with commercial solar and batteries?
Yes. HI-PRO can assess an integrated solar, battery and EV charging design. The achievable
solar contribution depends on charging times, energy production, site load and the control

long cable routes, switchboard works, trenching, bollards or supply upgrades require more
